With the popularity of Farmhouse décor, quilts are fashionable and often used as decorative art. While small quilts are used as wall hangings, larger ones are used traditionally on beds or displayed as murals in designer homes. Increase your understanding of quilting terms and processes as you build skills, exploring traditional and contemporary approaches to quilting. Beginner students complete a quilt block to be turned into a pillow, quillow (quilt in a pillow), small wall hanging or the beginning of a larger quilt; experienced quilters receive expert help with a current project. Work will be done by hand and on our sewing machines. Beginners and experienced quilters are welcome!
