CPCC login required. The SWD Databases course is taught in a blended format, where 50% of the course time will be self-directed online theory, with the remaining hours being instructor-led coaching. Participants will need to plan for an additional 30 hours of outside homework assignments. This course is an introduction to working with and designing databases specifically for the purpose of software development. Students will develop a foundational knowledge of database concepts, theory, and an overview of the various implementations and architectures. This class covers both relational (aka SQL) and non-relational (aka document) databases.
