The Pediatric Advanced Life Support Recertification course is designed to aid the experienced pediatric healthcare provider in reviewing and updating the knowledge and skills necessary to efficiently evaluate and effectively manage seriously ill infants and children. This course will review topics that include assessing for respiratory and circulatory compromise, establishing treatment priorites and intervening when necessary to stabillze the child. Students will also review treatment of the respiratory and circulatory systems, management of cardiac arrest arrhythmias and immediate postresuscitation care.
